LIFI
The LIFI bulbs are connected to the Internet via a network cable and sensor that is positioned under the light fixture, which is used as an Internet connection receiver and works by Infrared technology. Based on the spectrum of visible light, this bi-directional and wireless communication technology ensures a connection to the Internet and the secure and efficient transmission of data.
ALON AT WORK
ALONE AT WORK technology is suited to shared work spaces. It is a network of lighting that communicates using sensors mounted on light fixtures aimed to create a more pleasant work environment for the workers who stay after hours in the dark. At the end of the day, when it gets dark outside, the lighting at the unoccupied workstations turns off and bright light is created in the space from the occupied workstations during late hours. The goal of the system is the dim the inactive stations and to create a more pleasant lighting layer in the active stations for those who stay to work after hours.
MYDATA POSITION
The better we understand the customers’ buying experience, the more optimally we will be able to meet their needs and convey the right and relevant messages to them. MYDATA POSITION makes this possible. The digital development enables an analysis of buyers’ consumer behavior at the stores and display them in real time. Using Visible Light Communication (VLC) technology it is possible to transmit data and relevant advertisements to each customer individually.
PAL+
Color and color temperature play a key role in lighting design, which is why Regent developed +PAL technology. This technology generates light that is suited to the light perception of the human eye and thus ensures consistent lighting that is suited to how we perceive the colors and to prevent overheating. As designers, we will use this technology for places with challenging lighting design, like in museums, supermarkets and clothing stores. The color temperature ranges between 2500 - 6500 K and in CR up to 94.
MYLIGHT
The MYLIGHTS application enables us to remotely control light dimming and to create an atmosphere that is suited to the user’s personal needs. The idea to connect the light fixtures to the application and thus to control the lighting intensity, lighting shade and even to program customized characteristics of changing the shade and intensity of the light according to the user’s daily routine.
MY DATA ANALYSIS
The digital department at Regent Switzerland is entirely devoted to developing digital solutions that make light fixtures “smart” and thus to produce databases from them. Using the development of MYDATA ANALYSIS technology, data can be collected and analyzed to optimize the manner of work in the shared spaces.
Data collection in real time enables a quick scan of the active and inactive workstations and boardrooms. Using this data, it is possible to conclude which desks will be active for longer and need cleaning, and thus to optimize the work of the maintenance staff at the office. This is efficient use of human resources that enables a significant reduction in costs.
SENSODIM®
A small sensor with a huge impact. Daylight directly impacts the ongoing expenses of the electricity bills and optimizes the energy consumption in the public spaces. The sensor directly senses the natural lighting that enters the building and accordingly dims the light fixture to the required intensity. In addition, these sensors identify movement, so that within a specific time (which can be defined) that the fixture does not recognize any movement in the space, the light fixture will turn off on its own.
